EmployCare Classes and Screenings

Our EmployCare Occupational Health program joins forces with the Rehab Services Department to teach proper lifting techniques and safety procedures to employees of local business and industry. EmployCare also teaches First Aid and CPR classes at the hospital or on-site at area factories.

When flu season arrives, the staff of EmployCare provides more that 1000 low-cost flu vaccinations to local residents and employers. In addition to preventative measures and treatment of injuries, out EmployCare program offers a variety of services to area employers to help control rising worker's compensation costs. This occupational health program gives prompt work-related injury and follow-up care, physical exams and drug and alcohol testing. A new feature of the EmployCare program is Audiometric testing, which establishes a baseline hearing level that can be used with annual testing to detect damage to workers in high noise environments.
